Graham Coxon was born on March 12th of 1969 in West Germany. He grew up in Derbyshire, England.
Coxon is most well known for his work as Blur’s lead guitarist from 1991’s Leisure to 1999’s 13. He left the band in 2002 and only appeared on one track (”Battery in Your Leg”) on the band’s most recent album, 2003’s Think Tank.
He has since rejoined the band (in 2007) and they have announced reunion shows for this summer.
Blur was one of the biggest selling bands in the UK during the 1990s but they never managed to match that success in the US.
While they have had five #1 albums in the UK, their peak chart positi... |

One of my favorite things about Last.FM is that you can pretty much put in any adjective (”tag”) into the radio search bar and it’ll randomly play songs that users have tagged with that word. The more often people have tagged a song, the more likely it is that it’ll be played on that radio station.

1. Chris Rea - “Driving Home For Christmas”
I’ve never heard this song before, although it looks like it’s actually very pop... |

Phil Collins was born on January 30th of 1951 in London, England.
Collins is well known both for his time with the progressive rock band Genesis and for his very commercially successful solo career.
He originally joined Genesis in the early 1970s as a drummer and backing vocalist but when the original lead singer for the band (Peter Gabriel) left the group in 1975, Collins took over. The band had gained a cult following for their complex progressive music with Gabriel, but Collins took them in a more commercial direction which resulted in less acclaim from music critics but a lot more albums sold.
Collins had his greatest commercial success in the ... |

There will be a lot of retrospectives of Michael Jackson after yesterday’s shocking news. I’ll let others comment on his personal life. Sure that’s part of his story, but it’s because of his music that anyone cared about his personal life in the first place.
Anyway, I’ve done quite a few of these Last.FM features before as I find it quite interesting to see what songs people are actually listening to. It’s a great way of seeing which songs last, which songs really stick. Especially these days when so many people are listening song by song rather than to full albums (personally, I’m still an albums guy - usual... |
