Funcom’s MMORPG Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures steps into the next cycle and on the 11th of May they will release the expansion Age of Conan: Rise of the Godslayer. Today they have released the epic launch trailer and I thought I had to share it with you, because not only am I employed by Funcom as the German Community Manager, but I am also a vivid fan of Conan and REH. One of my favorite things about Last.FM is that you can pretty much put in any adjective (”tag”) into the radio search bar and it’ll randomly play songs that users have tagged with that word. The more often people have tagged a song, the more likely it is that it’ll be played on that radio station. The “Holiday Spirit” has hit me and I’m listening to music tagged as “Christmas.” These are the songs that came up on the radio and my impression of them: 1. Phil Collins was born on January 30th of 1951 in London, England. Collins is well known both for his time with the progressive rock band Genesis and for his very commercially successful solo career. He originally joined Genesis in the early 1970s as a drummer and backing vocalist but when the original lead singer for the band (Peter Gabriel) left the group in 1975, Collins took over. The Convention Fans Blog/Alltern8.com will officially be attending PAX East! PAX is short for Penny Arcade Expo, and it’s shaping up to be one of the biggest conventions on the east coast. They are expecting a sell out crowd! PAX East is March 26-28th in Boston, Massachusetts at the Hynes Convention Center. We’re super excited PAX has finally come to the east coast. Seriously. We jumped for a joy a little. Now if only Wil Wheaton was going to be there, I think I’d cry a little! (He’s the only regular Star Trek: The Next Generation cast member that I have not met.)
